MISSING EMAIL --

If you sent a message and are not sure I received it, or if you expected a message you didnÕt receive,  please let me know. WeÕve been missing some (not all) messages, in and out for a month or so. Now that we know whatÕs up, Core Comm and genius-techie-husband will have it fixed in no time.

On a personal note: I actually remember party lines and the wind-up wall phone in the Kempster General Store. I took my first computer course the year after Kennedy died, and I confess to being an email monkey (not junkie) who taps out messages and waits for return ticks as if they are rabbit pellets. So now IÕve lost a few pellets. I really donÕt like the sound of that. And I hate the idea that they are floating out there, somewhereÉ

Another personal note: HAPPY VALENTINEÕs  DAY!

Right now, I wish we could all post valentine stories. HereÕs my contribution.

One year, I wrote an article on Òfrom the heartÓ(in other words, free) gifts that appeared in Single Life Magazine. I had lots of great ideas, but my husband has better. Two favorites: The year I opened the microwave to find a bendable skeleton balancing on one bendable knee, holding up a hand painted paper heart that said, ÒI love you.Ó And this year: #55 down on the crossword puzzle was a neatly printed, ÒSee #53 across.Ó #53 across was, ÒI love you.Ó
