is one of the most delightful events of the Redbird year, when writers and
friends get a chance to hang out together and enjoy readings by fellow
writers.
This year's showcase
is a celebration of past success and new things happening at Redbird. Studio
founder Judy Bridges and
Red Oak director Kim Suhr will take the stage along with writer/teachers Robert
Vaughan, Jeannee Sacken and Laurel
Landis, and writers Tom
Biel, Marjorie Pagel, Carol Wobig, Dave Howard, Jeri Smith and Mike O'Keefe.
Authors Roi
Solberg, Stephen Boehrer, Cari Taylor Carlson, Judith Zukerman and others will be available to chat and
sign books.

Redbird
is known as "The Best Of" Milwaukee writing centers. Our workshops
attract writers of all ages and levels of experience from Green Bay to
Madison to Chicago. Our goal is to encourage writers of all ages and help
them any way we can. More than 6,000 people have attended Redbird
workshops.

Roundtables
are the heart of Redbird. Led by experienced writer/teachers, they combine the
best of college workshops and living room groups to give you structure,
support, healthy feedback and the opportunity to build a network of writing

learned more in this class in one night than I have in all my other classes put
together." SU&W is a mix of lessons, serious writing, coaching
and encouragement. The small group and highly individualized program includes
fiction and nonfiction and is a great energizer for beginners and pros.
